WHY DID I CHOOSE BUSINESS & HOME ESSENTIALS?

 

When I first started looking for company to represent, I was advised to look for a company that offered a product [or, products] that were:

 

  1. Affordable,

  2. Consumable, and were already met with

  3. 'Market Approval’ –meaning, you didn’t have to ‘sell’ a concept, then the product.

 

Over the past few years, friends & acquaintances suggested all sorts of opportunities via a unique business concept called Network Marketing. Network Marketing intrigued me with a concept I call the 'Exponential Power of Duplication'. Now there was nothing wrong with most of the opportunities that my friends & acquaintances offered, but there were a few things that I noted was that:

 

  1. Each required a substantial ‘investment’ into the business [sometimes totaling more than $1,000]; after which

  2. Each then required a minimum monthly ‘investment’ in inventory [$150-300] not inclusive of your individual replicating website; and

  3. Sometimes one needed an ‘acquire a taste’ for the product [something as a fitness buff I have had occasion to have to do, but not something for the everyday common individual]; and sometimes

  4. There was the ‘sell’ factor or, in other words, how much convincing [not counting any ‘technical’ talk] would I have to do in order to inform someone to join my business?

 

Finally, I was introduced to a company that specialized in Essential Services for the Home and/or Business. That company, ACN Inc., met all my criteria for a business.

 

  1. Affordable:  The initial investment was nominal and could easily be ‘earned back within 30 days. Furthermore, I did not have to ‘add’ any more to my budget since I was already paying for the product –only from a different source. The monthly website fee, while optional in all cases, was approximately the same for each

  2. Consumable:  It’s hard to argue that one is only going to use their electricity, natural gas, cell phone or Internet intermittently.  These are items that are ‘consumed’ on a daily basis and are already figured in as part of someone’s monthly budget. Additionally, even in the worse of times [unlike a lotion or potion commitment], they are some of last items that get ‘turned off’. Nobody voluntarily stops paying his or her electric bill.

  3. 'Market Approval’:  As a business owner, do I have to explain to you about Merchant Fees? Energy Management? Or, Satellite TV?  As a home owner/tenant, do I have to explain to you about Energy Management? Home Security? Satellite TV? Internet Service? Mobile Phone? Or, Online Video Gaming?

I wish I could say I was smart enough to know which compensation plan was the best –I’m not. Compensation plans are designed to promote certain behaviors, reward producers, leaders and team builders. With that being said, the hybrid unlimited break away uni-level compensation structure that Momentis uses has been determined by industry professionals as one of the most profitable pay plans that exists in the industry. In addition to qualifying for the compensation plan, people must be willing to purchase the products and services because of the value and benefits they provide. People are going to continue to purchase the ACN, Inc. menu of products whether or not they can earn money from them. This means you will be able to gather lots of customers that are not necessarily interested in the business opportunity. This means earning a commission on potentially thousands of customers each month long term. Honestly ask yourself, “How long do people need energy and other home essential services?”

Leadership

 

Without a doubt company leadership is the most important aspect of any business. Everything rises and falls based on leadership. Without the proper leadership, it doesn’t matter how great the products are or how profitable the comp plan pays is the business won’t survive long term, if poor decisions are being made.  Integrity, values, character and dedication are the things you want to see displayed by the company leadership.
